The Caribbean
The Caribbean:
With over 7000 islands to choose from, 700 of them in the Bahamas alone, the Caribbean is truly the best year-round warm weather destination for travel and sports. It has only two seasons, rainy and dry with temperature rarely dipping below 80 deg F.
In addition to the 19 active volcanos which are continuously shaping the eastern Caribbean islands, having 9% of the world’s coral reefs and famous festive carnivals that are considered some of the largest in the world; they are also the originators of the Reggae and Soca music genres.

Its distinct colonial history has curated the landscape of many of these islands and it is not uncommon to find countries where English, Spanish, French and Dutch are all predominant native tongues! Language however was not the only by product! Sports, such as cricket, football and track & field, introduced in the 18th century have thrived within the local communities!
But don’t be fooled by their laid-back, fun image, the Caribbean has produced some of the greatest athletes to ever walk the planet. As such, the region has become the source of many studies for training and dietary methods.
